We’re building Ontario’s most striking boutique hotel stays, designed for proper days off. Two properties open today, Calabogie and Collingwood, with one to two more opening every year. Our hotels are the kind of places your days off deserve. An inn in town. A house on the lake. A country estate. All built on the same belief: here, rest and connection are intentionally woven into every corner and moment. A deep exhale kind of place that’s grounded, thoughtful, and in sync with the local rhythm. Somewhere you’re proud to have found.
As a member of the front desk team, you are the face of our brand. You will be interacting with guests all day, every day! Key responsibilities include serving food & drink to guests, managing guest communications, bookings, room-service delivery, restocking the lobby shop and coordinating cleanings with housekeeping staff. Your #1 goal is to ensure guests have the best experience possible.
Approachable, thoughtful, outdoorsy, cool and fun. You love to let your personality shine. You are energized by interacting with guests. Things like compassion and empathy come easily to you. You love a new challenge, view learning as a lifelong exercise and hold yourself to a high standard. You are a team player and don’t mind lending an extra hand to housekeepers and the General Manager on busy days. You are comfortable using iPhones, iPads and apps to interact with guests and keep track of tasks. You are proud of where you live and love to share its magic with guests. And most importantly you have a passion for hospitality. At minimum, you have a high school education. Post-secondary training in tourism is great-to-have. Hands-on experience in hospitality is a bonus.
We feel very strongly that our staff’s wage reflects the immense impact that they have on our guests. We are proud to be a certified Living Wage employer.
Part 1: Phone Interview. We will ask you situational questions to understand how you would approach various scenarios. For example: what would you do if 3 guests all asked you for something at once?
Part 2: In-person interview. We will ask you more situational questions.
We believe hospitality should be for everyone - and that starts with our team. We’re a Rainbow Registered business, which means we’re committed to creating a workplace and guest experience that is safe, accepting, and welcoming to all. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives, knowing they make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. No matter your race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or background - if you’re passionate about crafting exceptional experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
