Who We Are
We’re building Ontario’s most striking boutique hotel stays, designed for seekers of calm, connection, and adventure. Our boutique properties blend thoughtful design with effortless hospitality, creating spaces that feel both welcoming and unforgettable. From morning coffee to late-night fireside hangs, every detail is curated to make each stay an effortless and totally memorable experience.
About the Role
📍 Ontario, Canada (Weekly travel throughout Ontario required)
We’re looking for a VP of Operations to take our hotels to the next level. You’ll lead the charge across all properties, making sure our operations run like a dream, guests leave raving, and we continue to push the boundaries of what hospitality can be. You’ll be hands-on, working closely with General Managers and traveling weekly to our properties in Collingwood and Calabogie (and some soon to be opened) to keep a pulse on everything happening on the ground. This role is all about balancing big-picture with the day-to-day details that make a hotel exceptional.
What You’ll Do
- Run the Show – Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring every detail is dialed in and every guest experience feels effortless. From the way a room smells at check-in to the perfect lighting at dusk, you’ll make sure the thousands of small moments that shape a stay are intentionally curated, optimized, and flawlessly executed across all properties.
- Create Magic Moments – Design and implement thoughtful guest touchpoints that surprise, delight, and make us unforgettable.
- Keep Us at the Top – Maintain our 85%+ NPS scores and ensure we hold the top Google & TripAdvisor rankings across Ontario.
- Empower the Team – Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers to drive excellence across all properties.
- Launch New Hotels – Play a key role in opening new locations, implementing our tech stack, brand standards, and process playbook.
- Elevate Our F&B Scene – Lead the expansion of our wine bars, patios, and restaurants, a strategic priority for 2025 and beyond.
- Think Critically – Challenge industry norms, rethink outdated hospitality practices, and find smarter, more effective ways to operate.
- Balance the Right & Left Brain – This isn’t about creating art—it’s about making smart, strategic decisions that drive the bottom line.
- Collaborate with Leadership – Work closely with ownership to align operations with our growth vision.
What We’re Looking For
- Hospitality experience is a must. Managing hotels, restaurants, or multi-unit hospitality concepts—if you know how to run a tight ship and deliver a stellar guest experience, we want to hear from you.
- We value diverse perspectives. Traditional hospitality experience is great, but we love leaders who bring fresh ideas and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
- A track record of driving operational excellence—you’ve led high-performing teams, maintained top-tier guest satisfaction, and optimized financial performance.
- An analytical and creative thinker—you know how to balance hospitality instincts with business acumen.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves leader—you’re not just giving direction from a distance; you’re hands-on, problem-solving, and making things happen.
- Comfort with travel—you’ll be visiting at least one property across Ontario weekly.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary – Because great leadership deserves great compensation.
- Car Allowance – You’ll be on the road, and we’ll make sure you’re covered.
- A Growing Brand – Be a key player in an expanding hospitality group with exciting new projects on the horizon.
We believe hospitality should be for everyone—and that starts with our team. We’re a Rainbow Registered business, which means we’re committed to creating a workplace and guest experience that is safe, accepting, and welcoming to all. We value diverse backgrounds and perspectives, knowing they make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. No matter your race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or background—if you’re passionate about crafting exceptional experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
