Ceremony over the lake, tents for a hundred and thirty, eleven rooms sleeping thirty-four. The whole property, an hour west of Ottawa.

Three acres, with your people on them.

Somewhere Inn Calabogie is eleven rooms on three private acres under mature trees, looking out at Calabogie Lake. Take it all and nobody else checks in: the ceremony lawn, an event tent, the lobby wine bar, the sauna and the fire are yours for the weekend. We are Rainbow Registered, and all kinds of love are welcome here.

Vows with the lake behind you, dinner under string lights and tree canopy, and the finish the night with a bonfire.

The ceremony

The lake behind you, the hills behind that.

Vows on the lawn, then the reception moves into the event tents in the trees. String lights on, long tables set, a covered plan whatever the forecast does.

The rooms

Eleven rooms. Thirty-four beds.

Seven kings, three rooms with two queens, and a 580 sq ft suite that sleeps eight and doubles as the place to get ready. Fireplaces and soaker tubs throughout.

The table

Catering local. Bar through us.

A short list of vendors we would eat at ourselves builds the menu with you. The bar pours from the lobby wine bar list, curated with Gibson & Co. Breakfast lands at every door in the morning.

The night

Fires lit, sauna hot, plunge cold.

Bonfires every night, year round. The thermal cycle open twenty-four hours. Barnet Park beach a two-minute walk for the morning after.

Transportation

Everyone gets here, and home again.

We arrange shuttles from Ottawa and the airport, the loop into town through the evening, and transport to and from nearby hotels and cottages for guests staying off property, before and after the event.

The event tent

A hundred and thirty under one roof, in the trees.

Event tents on the lawn overlooking the lake, sized to your list. Long tables or rounds, a dance floor, string lights, and a covered ceremony plan if the weather turns.

The whole weekend

Programmed from welcome drinks to goodbye breakfast.

A welcome reception at the wine bar on arrival night, yoga on the lawn in the morning, live music or lawn games before the ceremony, and a long goodbye breakfast for everyone the morning after.

The lounge

Exclusive use of our lounge.

Five hundred square feet, yours for the weekend. Get ready for the ceremony in it, run the speeches from it, or turn it into the speakeasy after-party once the tents go quiet. Whatever you want.
