What Is the Rainbow Registered Program?

The Rainbow Registered program was created by the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) to help travellers identify businesses that are committed to creating inclusive, welcoming experiences for 2SLGBTQIA+ customers and guests.

The program exists across Canada and includes businesses in hospitality, tourism, retail, wellness, food and beverage, and beyond.

To become Rainbow Registered, businesses commit to meaningful standards around inclusion and guest experience, including:

• Inclusive policies and practices
• Staff training and accountability
• Creating safer, more welcoming environments
• Ongoing learning and improvement
• Demonstrating a commitment to inclusive hospitality in everyday interactions

For travellers, the program helps remove some of the uncertainty that can come with visiting new places.
